Before I went to meet Maisie for our South London Dog Photography session, I was told to expect a Jack Russell/Chihuahua cross. So imagine my surprise when I went to meet this little doggie in her Streatham home and found what could easily be our Lucky‘s little sister. With all due respect to the doggie claiming to be the daddy, there’s NO WAY that Maisie has any Chihuahua in her… will the Patterdale Terrier daddy please step up?? 🙂
Once I showed Maisie’s “mum” the photos of our Lucky, she too was amazed and had to agree it was likely that Maisie looked much like a Patterdale on a Jack Russell bone structure. Whatever she is, she’s dead cute. She was feeling a little shy when I first met her, and not at all sure about me, but she soon stopped feeling any apprehensions once we headed off for walkies in the woods at the top of Streatham Common. She loves to run after sticks and balls, although she’s not always so keen on bringing them back. So throwing sticks and balls is great exercise, both for Maisie and for her “mum” Emma who has to go and get them more often than not. 🙂
